Where's Papa?

Join us Sunday, October 19th from noon-4p as we welcome Josh Pierson of Papa’s Catch Salmon.

Papa’s Catch Salmon is based in Harvard, Massachusetts. During the summer, Josh runs a 32’ gillnet boat in Bristol Bay, Alaska. During the rest of the year, they distribute their salmon in the greater Northeast until they run out sometime in the spring. Papa’s Catch offers sustainably-caught, wild Alaskan sockeye salmon. Harvested in Bristol Bay, Alaska, which boasts the largest and healthiest wild sockeye salmon run on the planet, Papa’s Catch takes pride in providing a sustainable product that nourishes individuals and communities alike.

Aside from filling CSA pickups and pre-order pickup, Josh will be selling salmon fillets on site—whole and portioned—that have been de-boned, vacuum packaged and flash frozen. The freshness and quality is un-matched!

Join us, Josh, shop, and learn about sustainable fishing efforts in Bristol Bay.
New and familiar faces are most welcome.

If you cannot make it to our event, you can also find Papa’s Catch Salmon here.

Pod will be open this Sunday, Oct.19th, 12-5p.

Pod & Friends. Pop-Up Saturday, March 1st

Hi, Hi!  Pod, as Pod, re-opens on Thursday, March 6th. But first, we're hosting a little Pop-Up opener on Saturday, March 1st from 11a-5p.

Who? What?

Manimal x Pod: We launch a small collaboration of poufs and camp stools featuring the amazing leather-patchwork style that Manimal ( Kristen Lombardi ) is known for. We'll be taking orders as these pieces will be entirely made-to-order. Samples will be on view at this event. Word has it that Kristen will also bring along some leather small-goods for sale that day. Yup, you'll be able to take those home with you!

If you're new, Manimal is a small and careful line of leather goods, produced from start to finish in New England. Kristen is a tailor, teacher, and designer who has been exploring hand craft, color, and function for 20 years. This collaboration between friends, aims to bring aesthetic joy into your home.

Knosen Antiques: You'll remember Knosen from our February pop-up here a few years ago. Knosen is an online antique shop based in the Boston area, with a focus on English and European pine furniture. The shop is a celebration of timeless pieces with beautiful histories and long lives ahead of them.

Amanda, of Knosen Antiques, will be featuring art, mirrors, stools, and other small pieces along with more contemporary home goods by Stoff Studios. The hand-screen printed lamp shades and cushions are super fun. You must see these in-person.

DEGEN: DEGEN is the creation of Lindsay Degen, a Rhode Island based fiber artist, designer, and serious crafter. DEGEN incorporates a mix of theoretical rigor and artistic expression, redefining the landscape of knitting in fashion. In 2022, DEGEN started an online knitting community called KNIT.club to inspire, teach, and create community with like-minded makers.

At the pop-up, DEGEN will be featuring a selection of its hot-off-the-presses Spring RTW collection along with a bit of sample and sale goods.

Of course we will pepper a few Pod-like things throughout the shop that day. We'll have a lot of London Borough of Jam on hand along with fresh-baked popovers that Michelle Mulford of Uncommon Feasts is so graciously providing--while they last.

Whether you come by on March 1st or 6th, we're excited to see you. X, JB
