Falcon Enamelware
Falcon Enamelware was originally manufactured in the Black Country area near Birmingham, England when Joe Kleiner & Sons created the original Falcon enamelware brand in the 1920's. In 2011, the original collection was revitalized – creating new colors and cookware sets along with increasing the gauge of the steel, making the products more durable and hard wearing.
Enamelware is porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel, giving it durability, smoothness, and chemical-resistance. If you drop it, it may chip but it won’t break. If your enamelware has a chip you can still use it as normal and it won’t affect the safety of your product.
Falcon Enamelware is oven-safe up to 530F / 270C, it can also be used on gas, induction, and electric hobs.
Ahead of using your enamelware in the oven, Falcon recommends brushing a thin layer of oil on the pans. If you find burn marks on your dish after cooking, simply soak in warm soapy water for a short period of time before washing. For tougher stains, soak bicarbonate of soda or lemon juice on the stain for half an hour and then wash as normal. All of our enamelware is dishwasher safe.
