Madurai Oval Bowl

This bowl is a shop favorite that we're happy to re-introduce. You're using it for salads, to serve veg or curry, an individual pasta. The depth is perfect for your sauciest dishes and it's great as a one-person dinner plate/bowl. The body is porcelain with a matte glaze in a color we cannot quite name. It's a yellow/grey/green chameleon of a color. A master of disguises. Each bowl is sold separately. 

Since 1950 Marumitsu has focused on functional ceramic-wares employing local potters who use both traditional and modern techniques. The potters hand is evident here especially in the application of glazes.
